So You Want To Be Another Network Marketing Success Story?
No matter what network marketing or MLM company you may have joined or be thinking of joining, one thing always holds true…
There are always a handful of people who make the MOST MONEY.
You know who they are….
- They are the ones who always have a crowd of people around them at the company meetings.
- They are the ones on stage getting all the awards and accolades.
- They are the ones who are succeeding while 97% of the other reps in your business are struggling.
They are…. Your Company’s TOP EARNERS!
So how do YOU get to be a top earner?
Well, there’s a lot of talk about this right now, and I’ve done some serious studying of the top earners that I know.
I mean, I’ve just flat out ASKED THEM what their tricks are…
– Some kind of secret marketing strategy?
– Some secret script they have to persuade people to join them?
– Some top secret brew that they drink?
And you know what? It really only comes down to one thing…
and if all network marketers understood this, they’d all be a whole lot happier.
I just published an article on how to succeed in network marketing, which addresses this very question… so if you would like
to read more, please take a look.
Happy New Year, everyone…. look for great things coming from this blog in 2010….
and ALL of it THE TRUTH.
To your success!

Perfectionism — How It Can Kill The Christmas Spirit! (Part 1)
As I write this, it’s Christmas Night, 2009.
The dinner has been cooked and eaten, the presents unwrapped, the friends have come and gone, and the kids have left with their families.
Now it’s just Rosemary and I sitting here reflecting on the day’s events.
You know what ? It wasn’t perfect.
And you know what else?
It doesn’t matter.
Now Much Time Do You Waste?
If you’re like me, you’re a perfectionist. I strive to make everything JUST RIGHT. And if its not, it really bugs me.
At least it used to.
But I have changed over the last couple of years. Perhaps it’s because I’m getting older (and a little sentimental after watching The Bucket List –watch this DVD if you haven’t already). Maybe it has something to do with Rosemary’s bout with breast cancer last year.
I don’t know.
All I know is that I have spent WAY too much of my life trying to make everything perfect…. and trying to please others.
And at the end of the day, perfectionism isn’t all its cracked up to be.
Take your Christmas this year. How was it?
- Did everyone go ballistic over their presents?
- Was your dinner the best you’ve ever prepared?
- Did you in-laws get along with your parents?
- Were you one big happy family like on The Cosby Show or The Waltons?
Chances are, the answer to one or more (or all) of these questions was a resounding NO.
And you know what? It’s okay!
Christmas if a time for family, for friends, and for love. The Christmas spirit doesn’t require you to be perfect, because next year no one will remember what wasn’t.
They won’t remember the dinner.
They won’t remember the decorations.
And most likely, the won’t even remember the gift they received.
What will they remember?
The feeling of LOVE in the house. The SECURITY your child felt just being in your home.
The feeling of WARMTH as people enter your house. The feeling of just being WELCOMED to be a part of your celebration.
That’s what people remember… not the material things.
THE FEELINGS!
So this Christmas, and throughout the NEW YEAR… give yourself a break.
STOP TRYING TO BE PERFECT.
It just doesn’t matter.
So tonight I ask you….
What was NOT perfect about YOUR Christmas…. and did it REALLY MATTER?
Til next time, I offer you glad tidings and Christmas cheer!

Are You Wasting Your Knowledge?
I am a HUGE believer in education. Always have been.
I decided early on that I wanted to get a college degree. So I worked hard and met my goal.
Then I decided I wanted to get a post-graduate degree. I worked even harder and got that diploma.
25 years later, and I have NEVER STOPPED LEARNING.
But I’ve come to understand that many, if not most people don’t complete the learning process.
THEY GET IT ALL WRONG!
I have a friend who is a big reader. You almost never see this guy without a book in his hand. He’ll read just about anything. I always admired his thirst for knowledge. But he had this bad habit of finishing his book and taking a nap. Or finishing his book, grabbing a bag of chips and turning on the TV to watch 3 hours of his favorite shows (and he had favorite shows 7 nights per week). He failed to take the next (and most essential) step of the learning process.…
You see, learning is a 2-step process. The first is the actual process of gaining knowledge.
Taking courses, learning a skill, reading, watching, listening…. gaining the expertise of your new skill.
But many people stop there. They are, in essence, WASTING THEIR KNOWLEDGE!
All the learning in the world does absolutely no good if you don’t take the followup step —
IMPLEMENTATION
Knowledge without implementation is wasted. You must APPLY all that you learn if you wish to take full advantage of your newfound knowledge.
- When you learn a new form of marketing… STOP — and implement what you learned.
- When you learn how to make a video —- then GO DO IT.
- When you study copywriting — STOP and GO PRACTICE writing ads and measure your progress.
- When you study how to do PPC marketing, STOP and run a few campaigns and measure your progress.
If you were to take every new skill that you learn and immediately TRY IT OUT — IMPLEMENT WHAT YOU LEARN – you will soon become a master of success and a leader in your chosen field.
Don’t fall into the LEARNING TRAP. Don’t neglect to implement every new skill that you learn.
I’ll say it again…
Learning without implementation is a total waste of your knowledge.
To your success!
